Walking In A Winter Vancouverland

I wanted to get an opportunity to take some photographs of Vancouver under a blanket of snow, but I found that taking pictures from the North Shore were simply too close to the mountains to get any perspective. I wondered and wondered where I could get some photographs of the vista of Vancouver’s North Shore mountains, and then it came to me. Across the Iron Worker’s Memorial Bridge, the Second Narrows, there is a turnoff for McGill Street and it has one of the most fantastic views in the Vancouver area. From there I snapped a few shots off in the fading light. And then, as though by magic, a bald eagle soared over my head and over to a large tree, whereupon he began pecking at something in his talons.
